Alumni News: David Coppola, Ph.D. ('98) Appointed President of Keystone College


The first in his family to graduate from college, David Coppola, Ph.D. (GSE '98) will become the 10th president of Keystone College in LaPlume, Pennsylvania on June 1st.  Currently vice president for strategic planning and administration at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, Dr. Coppola's appointment was announced to a room full of faculty, staff and Keystone supporters on Monday.

He said he will work to increase academic programs and to keep college affordable and attainable, with the challenges of first-generation students like himself in mind.  "It's a dream come true," Dr. Coppola said of his appointment.
