GSE Extension and Advanced Certificate Programs for Teachers

In today's competitive job market, it is more important than ever to differentiate yourself for your future employers. Setting yourself apart as a candidate with unique skills and knowledge, who will add value to any school setting, and can meet the needs of diverse learners is vital, and you're already on the road to doing that, with a degree from Fordham's Graduate School of Education.

What you may not know is that GSE has many additional options available to help you develop yourself professionally, even beyond your degree program. We offer multiple extension programs, which lead to additional certification and/or additional Fordham credits:

Extension Programs:
   **NEW** Adolescence Special Education
   (for Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, English, Mathematics, Physics, or Social Studies subject areas)
   Bilingual Education
   Bilingual Special Education
   Middle Childhood
   Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Special Education
Advanced Certificates:
   Literacy Leadership/Literacy Coaching
   Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)  
  
We are accepting applications now for admission to these extension and advanced certificate programs in Summer 2012!  Please note that the application deadline is April 15th, 2012, and click here to go to our online application.

If you would like to enroll in classes as a non-matriculated student at GSE for the Spring 2012 semester, In-Person Registration will take place at the Lincoln Center and Westchester campuses on January 18th & 19th, 2012. For more information about registration guidelines, click here.*
