This morning, the New York Daily News published an Op-Ed by Dr. William F. Baker (Journalist in Residence and Claudio Aquaviva Chair in Education), in which Dr. Baker implored Congress not to pass bills that will eliminate federal funding for public broadcasting (including PBS and NPR), one of the most trusted media institutions in the United States.
