Human Resiliency Institute in Airport Magazine

The Human Resiliency Institute at Fordham University's Graduate School of Education was developed to expand upon the scope and reach of the resiliency work of the Reclaiming the Sky Institute, which was developed post-9/11 to help airports and airline workers recover, and then to expand upon that foundation to promote the "resiliency" of front-line work staff who must meet pressing challenges in aviation today. The Institute operates in conjunction with GSE's Human Resource Education Master's program in the division of Educational Leadership, Administration & Policy.

The Institute recently developed the "Resiliency Edge" program, a three-part program designed to give airport and airline employees the "tools" to do more with less- so that they can operate more efficiently, enthusiastically, and be more productive in a tough economy.
